Filmland Spirits Moonlight Mayhem Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey

Filmland Spirits is a California whiskey company founded in 2020, led by CEO Troy Bolotnick, that treats every bottle like a movie: each release gets its own B-movie pulp-style poster on the front label, a film synopsis and cast of characters on the back, and animated trailers, script snippets and storyboards on the brand's website. Moonlight Mayhem! was the debut feature, a Romeo and Juliet-style werewolf romance set in a post-modern world. The bourbon inside is a blend of whiskey sourced from across the U.S., aged more than four years in white American oak, finished and blended to spec in Kentucky, and bottled at 94 proof (47% ABV). Filmland's own tasting notes call it sweet, with cherry and citrus on the nose, vanilla and caramel on the palate, and an intricate finish of toffee and toasted oak. It is built as an everyday sipper that works neat, on the rocks, or in an Old Fashioned. The story later got a cask-strength Extended Cut at 115 proof and a port-finished sequel, Moonlight Mayhem! 2 The White Port Wolf, but this is the original that started the franchise.
